The treasury of our experience: lockdown

Next in line is a new lockdown, our company is already working out a strategy for how to work when restrictions are reintroduced, and even working out the most difficult scenario for how to work if the transport service is canceled again.

The first lockdown was a complete surprise for all areas of business. We, like many other companies, put out the fire. No one has worked in such conditions yet, no one was ready for new conditions, it was a new challenge for everyone. It was a huge experience that showed our strengths and weaknesses.

And now we can say that our main achievement was that our customers did not feel any discomfort in service, and all services were provided in full and on time. Cleaning, delivery of consumables, flexible payment system, development of new requirements for cleaning in a pandemic.

Even before the introduction of lockdown, all cleaning companies developed and implemented new cleaning rules with an emphasis on surface disinfection. As well as implemented rules that were presented to the staff – checking the temperature, wearing protective equipment and more.

Work in lockdown

The very first step that was developed was to implement a completely different logistics. Almost all our clients continued to work, so our task is to work in the same mode as them. Our main goal is to deliver staff to the workplace. And if you take into account that each company has its own cleaning schedule, the companies are located in different parts of the city, the task was not easy, but we coped with it.

The second thing we immediately understood and felt was the lack of protective and disinfectants. In the total absence of everything we need on the market, we gnawed at suppliers of disinfectants and protective equipment for their needs, and were able to provide everything their customers need.

In such difficult times, you understand more than ever what kind of people work next to you. And we can confidently say that we have the best staff. Mutual assistance was at all levels. At a time when our legendary express crew was temporarily out of work, they did not hesitate to help transport staff. Time sets other priorities.

And now on the threshold of the second lockdown. What it will be, no one can predict. Yes, our state is like that. But we enter it already on the alert. We have developed scenarios in case of lack of transport connections and in case the transport will work. We have plenty of disinfectants and protective equipment in our warehouse, we have staff with experience in “extreme” conditions, and at the first need they are able to retrain as disinfectants, drivers, etc.

We work to keep our clients from being like this modern joke: Our cleaning lady works remotely today, so she calls and says what we need to do.
