Forline has again won the tender and signed a new contract for the service of the office of the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine.

This is more common in the public sector. But how surprised we were to see this method of cleaning in a very large and well-known manufacturing enterprise. When you enter a workshop with modern expensive equipment, everything is provided with the latest technologies and the cleaning lady removes all this with an ordinary wooden mop! It is predictable that we did not win the tender because we always use modern cleaning equipment.

Good inventory is primarily about taking care of the staff. Modern mops are designed in such a way that it is not necessary to wash it, you do not need to bend over to remove the rag, rinse it in a tilted position in a bucket, make an effort to wring it out, bend over and put it back on the mop and start washing. We do not even say that the time spent on cleaning increases significantly.

Keep in mind that the virus stays on surfaces made of wood, plastic and metal for up to 2-3 days.

The most dangerous surfaces are those that most often touch many hands.

For the school it will be: door handles, railings, desks, sports equipment, handouts, laboratory equipment, computers in the computer room, chalk.

And it is these surfaces that need the most attention and need to be disinfected after each lesson.

Therefore, the premises in which new groups of students will constantly enter must be ventilated, and door handles, desks, sports equipment, etc. – disinfect.

The easiest way is to take an ordinary spray with a disinfectant (ATTENTION, the disinfectant must have an alcohol content of at least 60-95%) and spray or wipe the necessary surfaces.

Bactericidal lamps can also be used in classrooms. But safety precautions must be observed – there should be no people in the classroom and at the end be sure to ventilate the room for 5 minutes.

Disinfection with a bactericidal lamp lasts depending on the power of the lamp itself, as well as the area of ​​the room. The shortest duration is 15 minutes.

How to deal with the computer room, because it is better not to spray disinfectant on computers?

But no one bothers to wipe these surfaces with a disinfectant wipe.

Our school, for example, offered to come to the computer science office in gloves.

BUT! if children wear gloves, they need:

– conduct a master class on how to properly remove gloves without touching their outer surface;

– There should also be a special container in the classroom for the disposal of used gloves.

Personally, I do not approve of wearing gloves. First, rubber gloves pollute the environment even more. Secondly, you have to be very careful when shooting them. And when you take them off, be sure to throw them away right away, not put them in your pocket or briefcase.

Therefore, I advise, even if everyone took off their gloves according to all the rules, and threw them in a special container to further disinfect their hands.

The Ministry of Health advised children to wash their hands after each lesson break. But let’s be honest. It takes at least 20-30 seconds to wash your hands thoroughly and rid them of the virus. The hands should be thoroughly washed with soap solution, paying attention to each area. But, for me, this is unlikely. The maximum that it will be – rinsing hands with water. But water does not kill COVID-19, but only washes away. And if it is not washed off with soap and water! He remained in his arms.

The best option – after washing your hands, spray them with disinfectant, it will complete the job and accurately destroy the virus.

If you are constantly in the same class – it does not mean that it does not need to be disinfected.

So in schools there will be daily cleaning with disinfection. But during the day, after each lesson, you need to disinfect the following surfaces: door handles, your desk.

The hardest part is chalk. It can get wet from the disinfectant. Therefore, after using chalk, hands should be disinfected.

Our main task is to teach children: that it is better to disinfect your desk and hands once more than to lie in the hospital.

P.S. Didn’t you see anything here about wearing masks and distance? Yes, this is one of the security measures. But sitting at a desk, touching the door handle, sports equipment, etc. to which a sick person has touched before, and then you just scratch your nose or eye, everything, we can say with confidence that you are almost sick. And you have a mask on, or not, you can withstand a distance of 1.5 m no longer matters. Disinfection of hands and surfaces is the main weapon with the disease. And this applies not only to modern COVID-19, but also many other old viral diseases.
